So excited to share my patriotic summer front porch with you all! Today I’m participating in a patriotic porches tour with my blogging friends! If you’re visiting from Decor To Adore, welcome! Also a big thank you to Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home for arranging this tour!
Welcome! My patriotic front porch is pretty simple. I’ve displayed just a few flags I’ve collected over the years.
I placed my lanterns outside now that the threat of rain is gone. The candles light up at night.
I’ve filled my favorite antique goat car with some faux hydrangea, flags and bunting. For my Spring home tour which you can see here, I had bougainvillea and dried wreaths on the doors. The problem with the dried wreaths is the elements caused them to brown and look ugly. I replaced them with faux boxwood wreaths which you can purchase here on Etsy (affiliate link).
For patriotic holidays I prefer simple understated decor – unlike Christmas where it seems that Santa dumped his whole sleigh into my house!
Next up on the tour, please visit Celebrate and Decorate! Wishing you all a happy Fourth of July!
